Foundation of the company

Production of wooden floors Garbelotto is the result of the initiative of Giacomo Garbelotto, who in 1950 converted his sawmill into the production of wooden floors, which, in view of the many demands of the market, was continued and expanded by his son Salvatore, known as “Armando”, and his wife Annamaria. Salvatore’s son, Antonio, transformed the artisanal business into a limited liability company: Parchettificio Garbelotto srl was founded in 1987 in Capella Maggiore, where the Group’s headquarters are still today. The company is run by Antonio, his wife Renza Altoe and their son Marco.

In 2003, the company continued its growth: Antonio and Renza founded Master Floor srl, which manufactures engineered wood flooring with ready-to-use large-sized planks.

In 2007, the company became the first, the only one in Italy, to start using the water-based dyeing system.

The choice to focus on innovation, products completely made in Italy and biocompatibility was a winning move, because as a result the company continues to grow and the group has become a benchmark in the national and international markets.
